An ongoing investigation

Exploring the edges of science, consciousness, history, technology, and the unexplained.

Some questions deserve to be investigated before they are dismissed.

Begin

The premise

What if we know less about reality than we think?

I spent the first part of my career inside the scientific method. I earned a master’s in evolutionary biology, tracked endangered birds through remote country, and published peer‑reviewed research on how populations diverge across a landscape. That work taught me to respect evidence. It also left me with a habit I never lost: when something does not fit, look closer.

In the years since, I have run into things that do not fit. Personal experiences. Patterns in the historical record. Careful, sober people describing events that should not happen. Science has answered some questions extraordinarily well. Other questions we may not yet know how to ask. I am not asking you to accept an explanation for any of this. I am arguing that the questions deserve honest attention.

Science taught me how to ask questions. Experience taught me there were more questions to ask.

The investigator

A scientist by training. A seeker by experience.

I hold an M.S. in evolutionary biology from San Diego State University and worked for years as a field biologist, including endangered species research. My graduate study of the white‑headed woodpecker was published in The Condor. Then I went into geospatial technology: starting in 2008 I helped move field crews off Windows Mobile GPS units and onto modern mobile GIS. In 2014 I founded Anatum GeoMobile Solutions, named for Falco peregrinus anatum, the American peregrine falcon, because the bird guy never really left. I still run it today, now moving the same industry onto handheld LiDAR scanners, Gaussian splats, and digital twins. None of that prepared me for the experiences that eventually changed my life. All of it shaped how I responded: not with belief, and not with denial, but with an investigation.

That investigation became a book, a growing body of field work, and a media company. It is still going.

How claims are handled here

Exploration should never masquerade as proof. Everything published under this name carries one of four labels.

Evidence

What can be independently verified. Documents, data, the physical record, replicated findings.

Experience

What happened to me, or was reported to me. Real to the person. Not, by itself, proof of a cause.

Interpretation

What I think it might mean. Stated as opinion, argued openly, and revised when better evidence appears.

Unknown

What I cannot explain. The most honest label in the set, and usually the most interesting.

I will always tell you which is which.

The book

Glimpses of Atlantis, Bigfoot, & Aliens

You Are Not Going Crazy; You Are Awakening

Part memoir, part investigation. Glimpses follows what happened when a trained scientist began having experiences his worldview had no room for, and what he found when he refused to look away.

It is not a book of answers. It is an honest record of the questions, told by someone who still checks for the ordinary explanation first.

Open questions

Where the investigation goes

Ten territories, treated as open files rather than settled cases. Essays, field reports, and conversations publish in the Journal as the work happens.

Consciousness

The one thing every person knows firsthand, and the thing science finds hardest to explain.

Ancient Civilizations

What the record actually shows, what it does not, and the anomalies in between.

UFOs & Disclosure

Sorting credible testimony and data from noise, without deciding the answer in advance.

Bigfoot & Cryptids

Why careful, sober people keep reporting animals that should not exist.

The Paranormal

Experiences that resist tidy explanation, taken seriously without being taken on faith.

Human Origins

A timeline that keeps getting revised, and the discoveries doing the revising.

Spiritual Awakening

What happens after a worldview cracks open, described without a script.

Artificial Intelligence

Minds, machines, and what building with AI reveals about our own intelligence.

Science & the Unknown

Where solid evidence ends and honest uncertainty begins.

Field Notes & Expeditions

Dispatches from sites, archives, interviews, and the road.

Founder

Dragon Clan TV

Ancient Knowledge. Streaming Now.

A creator‑first streaming platform for the subjects mainstream media underserves: consciousness, ancient civilizations, unexplained phenomena, paranormal research, holistic knowledge, and human potential.

Independent creators keep ownership of their work and their relationship with their audience. I started building it after meeting too many serious people with nowhere serious to publish.
